January 2017 - Full Spectrum's Rhodium Product Line is a software defined radio (SDR) implementation of IEEE 802.16e (Mobile WiMAX). Rhodium is unique in that it does not rely on dedicated WiMAX chipsets but runs the standard protocol using general processors, DSPs and FPGAs. Our Rhodium end to end system operates in any licensed frequency from 50 MHz to 6 GHz using standards based channel sizes of 5 MHz and 10 MHz. All of this is based on Full Spectrum's agile RF front end.
Full Spectrum has seen an increased demand for a versatile software defined radio running standards based Mobile WiMAX. As commercial carriers work with government entities to realign frequency bands throughout the world, private entities that own and operate mission critical networks are being forced to either abandon or relocate their existing networks. For most of these entities, WiMAX is still the preferred solution for mission critical private wide area networks. Now with Full Spectrum's Rhodium product line, the operator has maximum frequency versatility in a turnkey network of Rhodium Base Stations and Rhodium Remote Radios.
